Student Spotlight Series: Nichole Vallely
Student Spotlight: Nichole Vallely
This month for our student spotlight series we chose Nichole Vallely. She loves taking care of others and enjoys working out, painting, and crafting.
Why did you want to become an Esthetician?
I love helping and taking care of other people. I’ve struggled with acne most of my adult life, and I really wanted to learn more about what cause it and use that knowledge to help other people who are struggling.
What is it that drew you to Elise Esthetics compared to other schools?
I didn’t even consider any other school. I went to take a tour, and after talking to Lexi and some of the girls in the current class I knew that this school was made up of compassionate and hard-working instructors that truly want you to succeed. The deciding factor for me were the online classes. I am a stay at home mother to three young children and a husband who travels for work, having a school that offers so many different available classes, with hybrid online classes was essential for me. I wouldn’t have been able to pursue this passion any other way.
What are your goals within the esthetician world in the next five years?
I’d like to continue my education learning advanced treatments, and eventually end up working at a medical spa.
How has going to Elise Esthetics Institute changed you or helped you in your career?
Being a student of EEI has given me a greater understanding of skincare, I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone and I realize the potential I have to make a difference in this industry. None of that would have been possible for me If it weren’t for the amazing people that work for EEI teaching and guiding me.
Who or what are your top three beauty influencers?
My children keep me motivated to not give up and continue learning, anything I can do to help them now and in the future is worth all my effort.
I also get influenced from different social media accounts. I love watching people grow within their businesses and seeing how they maneuver within and around current skin trends. I like to see what has worked and failed within their companies. People willing to share what has helped them get to where they are today is very motivating and encouraging for someone just getting started in the industry.
My last beauty influencer would have to be Tessa (the owner of EEI). Tessa is a wealth of information and her classes are so educational. She wants you to succeed and will help you any way she can, all you have to do is ask.
Best skincare advice
Stay hydrated and wear sunscreen, all day every day!! These are the two best things you can do for your skin.
What would you say to someone indecisive of going to Elise Esthetics Institute?
Go to the school take a tour and ask questions. Talk to the students, talk to the teachers and just be in the environment, it will speak for itself. You know it’s a good school when the students enjoy being there, and I definitely enjoy being there.
