The 8 Best Essential Oils For Your Skin

Essential oils have been around for centuries and now many skincare brands carry them in their products to aid in the use of natural living. All essential oils are plant-based and are best used for health improvement, relaxation, stress, and a myriad of other issues we commonly face on a daily basis. To get the best use out of essential oils, using a diffuser is common and can help enhance your mood, ward off illness, and provide pain relief. Let’s look into the top 8 essential oils!

Frankincense Oil

Commonly known for helping with common skin issues, frankincense helps to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes. It also stimulates cell regeneration. If you have nightmares you can kiss them goodbye with this oil by rubbing it into the large arteries along the side of your neck. Meditating with frankincense is common and helps the memory of the brain and emotions due to the stimulation of the limbic side of the brain. Frankincense is derived from the sap of the Boswellia Sacra trees and has a earthy undertone to it.

Sweet Orange Oil

Rich in vitamin C, sweet orange oil inherits many bacterial and disease fighting agents. Using sweet orange oil stimulates collagen production in the skin, protects the body from colds and flu, disinfects wounds, and heals mouth ulcers. Derived from the outer peels of oranges in Brazil, this essential oil can act as a tonic and relieves inflammation from the gut.
