Tessa Boyd, the owner of Elise Esthetics Institute, is a licensed facial specialist in the state of Florida as well as the state of Ohio. Tessa has a degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Management from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate from the Aveda Fredric's Institute where she earned her esthetics license. Additionally, Tessa has reached the highest tier in Dermalogica's skincare status program by becoming a Dermalogica Skin Expert. As former director of Education at the Florida College of Natural Health, Tessa increased the student population by 44%, decreased student attrition by 7% and increased student completion rate by 12%. Tessa has the infinite ability to challenge students to learn and ignite their passion for the skincare industry.
Amanda Glaeser is a licensed facial specialist in the state of Florida, a graduate of Elise Esthetics Institute and has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She has over 8 years of experience in the makeup industry which includes working with the top cosmetic companies, partnering with local photographers on photoshoots and working with the Opera and the Philharmonic Orchestra. Along with makeup, Amanda has her own mobile spa based in Windermer.
Sheena is a licensed facial specialist in the state of Florida, a graduate of Elise Esthetics Institute and has over 10 years of experience in makeup artistry. Currently, Sheena is working as a makeup artist and brow specialist at KROMA® Makeup Studio in Maitland, FL. She enjoys teaching makeup to the students at Elise Esthetics Institute and looks forward to sharing her passion for skin care with them as a teaching assistant.
Patricia Martorana is an instructor for Elise Esthetics Institute's Advanced Esthetics program. Patricia is a licensed esthetician and esthetics educator who has been practicing skin care for the past 18 years. A graduate of The University of Arizona with a Bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology, she is currently attaining her Master's in sociology at New Mexico State University. For 6 years she taught the basic and paramedical skin care program at Florida College of Natural Health and is also a certified trainer for various product lines and modalities such as dermaplaning. Patricia's knowledge and expertise will challenge you in achieving your esthetic goals.
Erin is a licensed esthetician and an Elise Esthetics Institute graduate. Post graduation, she specialized in full body waxing at one of the top waxing centers in the US. She is currently working at TSecret in College Park, FL as an Esthetician, as well as finishing her degree in Biological Sciences. Erin is very instrumental in the administrative functions of the school and in helping students reach their fullest potential in becoming a licensed facial specialist.
Elizabeth Molnares is an Elise Esthetics Institute graduate and graduate of the Universidad de Carabobo, Venezuela, where she obtained a bachelor degree in Medical Sciences. Elizabeth is a trained Medical Doctor in Venezuela. Since relocating to Florida, Elizabeth had become a full specialist having both her skincare and nail license. Her extensive training in medicine and desire to help others led her to studying skincare and nails. Elizabeth is passionate about educating future skin therapists and challenges students to reach their fullest potential. Elizabeth is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish.
This program will encompass a thorough, in depth 300-hour curriculum focusing on ethnic skin, hygiene, personal development, sanitation and sterilization. Students will graduate adept in theory and practical training that will have them equipped with the skill set to be employable in the salon/spa setting. Elise Esthetics Institute programs give future facial specialists a solid foundation on the structure and function of the skin and how to access each client’s needs. The Elise Esthetics Institute Online/Hybrid Program will combine both traditional and nontraditional methods of learning.
Elise Esthetic Institute’s Esthetics Program teaches its students how to perform facials, back facials, waxing techniques using hard and soft wax, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and microcurrent. After completing the program, the student will be eligible to apply for the Florida Facial Specialist License.
