Tessa Boyd, the Director of Elise Esthetics Institute, is a licensed facial specialist in the state of Florida as well as the state of Ohio. Tessa has a degree in Business Administration in Marketing and Management from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate from the Aveda Fredric\’s Institute where she earned her esthetics license. Additionally, Tessa has reached the highest tier in Dermalogica\’s skincare status program by becoming a Dermalogica Skin Expert. As former director of Education at the Florida College of Natural Health, Tessa increased the student population by 44%, decreased student attrition by 7% and increased student completion rate by 12%. Tessa has the infinite ability to challenge students to learn and ignite their passion for the skincare industry.
Amy Johnson, native of Orlando, FL attended West Orange High School. She later attended Valencia College to pursue a career as a Business Administration professional. She has a strong efficient background in sales, commercial real estate, and office space leasing. When she’s not minding business matters, she enjoys scuba diving, fishing, and anything else ocean-related. She’s also a crafting genius and spends free time creating beautiful art, decorating, and cooking. Facials, beauty products, and makeup are on her list of favorites as well. She has an inviting and bubbly personality that accompanies her willingness to learn and help others.
Stacie Young, Lead Skincare/Makeup Instructor, is a beauty professional with more than 20 combined years in the industry as a skin care professional, hair stylist, and MUA. She prides herself on inspiring, motivating, and coaching her students into a new level in their career choice as well as working on and improving the person they see in the mirror. She encourages her students to work from the heart, take care of themselves both physically and mentally, and to practice self-love that will spill over onto their clients.
Jamilah Allwood, Skincare Instructor, has been an esthetician in both Massachusetts and Florida since 2009. As a graduate of Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics and Massage Therapy in Medford, MA, she is passionate about helping others truly embrace and appreciate their value. What she loves most about being an esthetician is educating her clients on how to best care for their own skin. In addition to being an esthetician, Jamilah served as a trainer and manager in a spa setting while in Massachusetts. She looks forward to seeing her students walk into the industry confident and educated.
Patricia Martorana is an instructor for Elise Esthetics Institute’s Advanced Esthetics program. Patricia is a licensed esthetician and esthetics educator who has been practicing skin care for the past 18 years. She graduated from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology; and is currently attaining her Master’s degree in sociology at New Mexico State University. Patricia graduated from Florida College of Natural Health where she instructed for 6 years teaching the basic and paramedical skin care programs. Additionally, Patricia is a certified trainer for various product lines and modalities such as dermaplaning . We are confident that Patricia’s knowledge and expertise will challenge you in achieving your esthetic goals.

This program will encompass a thorough, in depth 300-hour curriculum focusing on ethnic skin, hygiene, personal development, sanitation and sterilization. Students will graduate adept in theory and practical training that will have them equipped with the skill set to be employable in the salon/spa setting. Elise Esthetics Institute programs give future facial specialists a solid foundation on the structure and function of the skin and how to access each client’s needs. The Elise Esthetics Institute Online/Hybrid Program will combine both traditional and nontraditional methods of learning.
Elise Esthetic Institute’s Esthetics Program teaches its students how to perform facials, back facials, waxing techniques using hard and soft wax, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and microcurrent. After completing the program, the student will be eligible to apply for the Florida Facial Specialist License.
